When Youth Voices reporter Charles left his school in Thailand and started attending Wilson Senior High he was struck by how many students he saw skipping school, talking in class, and hanging around in the hallways. At the same time, he noticed that other international students like him seemed to take their educations more seriously. He wanted to find out why.
