Hello, my name is Chris and I’m in the 12th grade at Woodrow Wilson Senior High School in Northwest Washington, DC.
My story is about the physical condition of DC Public Schools and its affect on student learning. As a life long student of DCPS, I had to endure the poor maintenace conditions of the schools from peeling paint from the ceilings to broken air conditioners and leaky faucets. After years of this experience, I feel like its time for some answers.
I hope that this radio experience will one day help me become a radio DJ in a large city.
