Hello my name is Antonia and I am a 12th grader at Woodrow Wilson Senior High School, in Washington D.C. The Youth Voices Radio Workshop is a fun learning experience and I am eager to finish my final project.
My story is about single parents working odd hours, specifically nightshift jobs and how they maintain — juggling work and family life. I chose this topic because I am a child whose parent works a nightshift job and I know the stress that comes with it. For me, it’s the added responsibilities such as taking care of my younger brother and cooking for the family.
Hopefully my story will be a success and the two main people I will have to thank are Sarah Hughes, Teri Cross Davis and my family.
